Getting Here
HDN: Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Hayden) is the closest airport (about 30 minutes to downtown Steamboat Springs). Year round daily flights between DIA and HDN are offered by United and Southwest Airlines.
DEN: Denver International Airport is about a 3.5 hour drive (traffic dependent) from Steamboat by rental car or shuttle service.
Getting Around
Transportation will be provided to and from Lucky 8 Ranch on Saturday. The pickup location will likely be within walking distance of the Steamboat Grand Resort.
Rental Cars
We highly recommend renting a car to fully experience everything Steamboat has to offer, from exploring the mountains to downtown! If you decide not to, Steamboat offers a free bus service to easily get around and access downtown and the base of the mountain. We recommend staying nearby the bus line (check out here). Note that the bus line stops around 10:30 for folks staying downtown.
While we will provide transportation to and from Lucky 8 Ranch on Saturday from the Steamboat Grand, know that Ubers can otherwise be sparse around Steamboat.
Car Rentals at HDN:
Note that DEN has all major car rental options if you choose to fly in there and drive to Steamboat.

Steamboat Grand
This hotel requires a 2-night minimum stay, and the listed rate is per night for either a king room or double queen room, but may change depending on availability. The rate does not include taxes and a $25/night resort fee.
The Steamboat Grand offers a variety of different lodging options (apartments, condos, penthouses) with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. It is located at the base of the mountain and where shuttles will be picking up and dropping off for transportation to and from the ranch. The hotel was renovated in 2024 and offers outdoor pools, hot tubs, and a gym.

Gravity Haus Steamboat
We have reserved a block of 30 rooms (10 king rooms, 20 double queen rooms) at Gravity Haus. The rate does not include tax or a $20/night resort fee. The cut-off date for reserving the group rate is August 19, 2025, but rooms may go fast. The hotel is offering the group rate for 3 days before and after the wedding if you'd like to prolong your stay, pending availability.
Gravity Haus is located slopeside and offers a wealth of amenities, including a hot tub/sauna/outdoor pool, restaurant, and co-working spaces. To book, call 303-503-4762 or email groupreservations@gravityhaus.com.
AirBnB/Rentals
There are also many options to rent a home in Steamboat.
We have a discount code through Retreatia, which has properties of varying types in Steamboat. Use the code APOLLO when booking for a 10% discount. The discount is valid from 9/17/2025-9/24/2025. We recommend staying close to the base area in one of these properties: Dulany at Gondola, The Phoenix, The Lodge, Canyon Creek, Eagleridge Lodge, Trappeurs Crossing (Aspen Lodge, Champagne Lodge, Trappeurs Lodge).

We love being downtown when visiting Steamboat as there are so many great restaurants and shops. If you choose to book a rental downtown (which is a 10-15 minute drive from the mountain base area and the wedding day transportation pickup), make sure you are walking distance from the Welcome Party at E3 Chophouse (Friday Night).
Please be aware that Ubers in Steamboat can be hard to come by. If you decide to rent a home or spot downtown, you will need to take the free bus (which is wonderful!) or Uber to the pickup location at the Steamboat Grand. The free bus usually stops running around 10:30 PM. If you plan to stay downtown, you will have to catch one of the earlier shuttles back from Lucky 8 in order to make one of the buses from the base area to downtown.
